Richard Hodgman's Art Photographs

This composite photo was shot from our driveway in Laguna Woods, CA. One rainy night I set up in the front of the garage and weather cooperated with a rare dash of hail. Lighting was from the street light above the stop sign and a flashlight that caught the reflective coating on the signs. The second photo was a few weeks later, shot in the late afternoon, of a person walking along the sidewalk on the main street.
Equipment was a Canon EOS 5D Mark III with the kit lens, a Canon Zoom Lens EF 24-105mm 1:4 L IS, all mounted on a Manfrotto tripod and using a remote sutter release. I used Adobe Camera Raw and Photoshop for postprocessing.
