Richard Hodgman's Art Photographs

The assignment is black and white landscape. I went to a high point near home three days in a row, before 6 PM. Each day, I reviewed my images and decided how to hone in my focus on a more dramatic subject. By the third day, I walked around the hill crest and picked out Mount Baldy, snow-covered at the end of March and about 60 miles away. There was quite a bit of haze as can be seen in this image, as shot.
